Care Plus Provider, LLC

Care Plus Provider, LLC We are a licensed, insured and bonded non-medical provider of home care services based on the belief that your needs are of the utmost importance. Gina S.

Te never has imagined that her genuine desire to serve others led her to seriously consider in-home care for the adults and the elderly. With her belief that genuine care comes from the heart and armed with her certifications as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Solano School of Nursing in 2004, Residential Care Facility for Elderly as Administrator (RCFE) in 2005, and 12 years of her personal

care giving experiences, she decided to boldly establish her own in-home care services business. Unstoppable to pursue her dream, she started everything in the right perspective, and in 2006, “DREAM HOME CARE” was born – a 100% woman-owned quality personalized in-home care business. However, believing that she needs more and further knowledge and expertise in the field of in-home care services, she enrolled in the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Program in 2008. Today, after ten years in the healthcare industry and with combined heart and soul dedicated to serve the community, she took a big leap of providing a full array of professional, personalized in-home care services in the Greater Bay Area through her very own “Care Plus Provider, LLC.”

To realize the challenge of providing only the BEST CARE to the clientele, he has recruited, trained and placed qualified, dedicated, committed and compassionate caregivers, wherever needed. With its mission to continuously provide quality service to clients, as well as to build a long-term relationship with its stakeholders, Care Plus Provider, LLC strives to retrain and retool, upgrade and professionalize its in-home staff and caregivers for total client satisfaction.

Interesting Topics You and Your Senior Loved Ones Can Talk About

While it is important for home care providers to spend quality time with their senior loved ones, knowing what topics to discuss is as important. You cannot just stare at each other blankly to say that it’s already quality time because the truth is it’s not! Think of some interesting and relevant topics you can share with each other ahead of time. Topics like:

Childhood memories

It is good to make them feel nostalgic from time to time. At least, as they look back on the time they got scolded from being late in school or the first time they bumped into their crush, they would feel young again.

Trials they’ve overcome

Seniors can share a lot of stories when it comes to their victories, losses, and the breakthroughs that came after that. If you’re looking for valuable lessons you can carry with you, they are the best group of people to run to. Calling to mind the challenges and difficulties they’ve had in the past can remind them of their strength, confidence, and fulfillments.

Love advice

Though most of the time the pieces of advice are funny, their own love story itself is what actually makes the entire conversation going. The advice they give may no longer be relevant to our generation now, but knowing what transpired in the past is both enjoyable and educational.

Spending quality time with seniors is not just for them to alleviate depression and loneliness, but also for families and caregivers to be freshened and encouraged by their life’s ups and downs.

How Gardening Benefits Seniors

Due to the fact that loneliness and depression are common in aging, home care providers make purposeful and beneficial daily plan of activities for their senior loved ones. Activities that are engaging, self-preserving, and favorable are always on their list, and one of them is gardening. Here are its benefits:

-It stimulates the brain
The garden is a great place for your mind to be stimulated. The fresh air you breathe and the fragrant greenery of the garden can facilitate calmness and relief from stress. If gardening can stimulate the mind, it won’t matter anymore whether or not seniors get messy around.

-It encourages socialization
Aside from karaoke singing and ballroom dancing, gardening is a great way for seniors to socialize. Gardening is considered to be an old school activity, so it definitely won’t be a boring one for them. In fact, especially with the old ladies, chit-chatting about beautiful flowers that bloom every season, gardening techniques, and the like, are their best-beloved.

-It is good for the skin
It is good that seniors can go out from time to time, especially when there are gardening activities to be done. Their skin also needs enough Vitamin D from the sun. Especially when gardening is done around 8 or 9 in the morning, enough supply of Vitamin D can be absorbed by the skin, giving it a more radiant glow.

Gardening is not just fun, but healthy too. For more information, just visit Care Plus Provider, LLC at www.cpprovider.com.
