💙 Together Forward for Mental Health — Vote YES on Issue 1! 💙

A vote YES on the Issue 1 means:
✅ A reliable local funding stream for trusted mental health & addiction programs, like Syntero
✅ 88% of funds going directly into community agencies and schools, like Syntero's school-based services
✅ Continued support for the Franklin County Crisis Care Center and mobile crisis teams
✅ Quality care, transparency, and commitment for all who need it

When we move Together Forward, we build a stronger, healthier community—now and for the future.
Vote YES on Issue 1 for mental health and recovery.

🌟 We’re honored and grateful! 🌟
Syntero was recognized with the Quality of Life Award from at last night’s annual dinner!

Accepted by Syntero's Morrow County Clinical Services Manager, Sharon Dewey, and CEO Sara Harrison-Mills, this award is presented to a nonprofit that is making a positive impact on the lives of Morrow County residents. Syntero was nominated by our valued partners at the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board (DMMHRSB) for our School-Based Prevention and Early Intervention services in all four Morrow County school districts.

Since 2017, Syntero has been proud to provide responsive, compassionate care to students, families, and school staff—helping youth build skills, strengthen resilience, and live healthier, more hopeful lives.

A heartfelt thank-you to DMMHRSB Executive Director Deanna Brant for the nomination and to the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce for recognizing Syntero’s commitment to improving quality of life across our communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Syntero’s Big Table Talk as part of The Columbus Foundation's Big Table 2025! Meaningful change starts with open, honest conversations—and we’re grateful to everyone who shared their voices on the evolution of mental health and the future of care in Central Ohio.

💚Our discussion traced how far we’ve come since Syntero began in 1975, when mental health care was just beginning to move from institutions to community-based support. Together, we reflected on:

💚How stigma has shifted and mental health is increasingly understood as health.

💚The power of people-centered care supported by data and technology, not driven by it.

💚The urgent need for funding, workforce development, and fair pay for clinicians who save lives every day.

As we look Together Forward, we envision a future with no stigma, where everyone knows their value, and where those who serve in this field are valued—and compensated—accordingly.

Thank you again to The Columbus Foundation for hosting these important conversations across Central Ohio and for inspiring communities to come together for change. 💙

💛 A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Labcorp in Dublin, Ohio!

Today, Labcorp’s GM/VP Todd Homan and Darla Randle, chairperson for Labcorp’s Employee Engagement Committee, stopped by Syntero’s office to present a check for $735 to Syntero CEO Sara Harrison-Mills. The funds were raised through Labcorp’s annual 🥧Pie in the Face Fundraiser.

We’re so grateful that Labcorp chose to support Syntero this year and for your shared commitment to mental health and community well-being. Your generosity helps ensure that individuals and families across Central Ohio have access to the care they need. 💙

For 50 years, Syntero has been a trusted source of support for individuals, families, and communities across Central Ohio — and we couldn’t have done it without our community partners. 💚

The ADAMH Board of Franklin County, , makes our prevention, counseling, treatment and crisis programs possible. Syntero is proud to stand among more than 50 community-based agencies supported by ADAMH, all working to build healthier, stronger communities.

But continued care depends on continued support.

A majority of ADAMH’s funding comes from a single property tax levy that expires in December 2026. Without renewal, over 77% of the funding for programs addressing suicide prevention, addiction, and access to mental health services could be lost.

Together, we can continue providing 50 years of support — and beyond. 🌱
