The OUPA students, faculty, and staff brought creativity (and a little medical mystery) to campus today for our Annual PA Student Costume Contest! 🎃

Students were challenged to dress as a disease or medical-related theme, and they did not disappoint!

Challenge accepted...and conquered!! 💚🏆

A big congratulations to our team of four second-year students for taking first place at the 2025 OAPA PA Student Challenge Bowl last night!!!

The Challenge Bowl brings together PA students from programs across Ohio for a spirited test of clinical knowledge and collaboration. We’re so proud of our students for their knowledge, hard work, and collaboration throughout the competition.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants (OAPA) for hosting such a dynamic and engaging event!

Now Recruiting Pregnant Participants for a Clinical Learning Lab:

The Ohio University Physician Assistant Program- Dublin is seeking pregnant participants (ideally in their 2nd or 3rd trimester) to assist our PA students as they practice clinical skills in a supportive educational environment.

🩺 Lab Date: November 6, 2025
🕓 Time: 9:30–11:30 AM
📍 Location: Ohio University Dublin Campus (6805 Bobcat Way, Dublin, OH 43016)
💰 Compensation: $30/hr

During this session, PA students will practice measuring fundal height and listening to fetal heart tones with a handheld doppler. There will not be any invasive procedures.

The Annual OUPA 5K brought together students, faculty, and community members on Saturday to raise funds for Bobcat Street Medicine, an organization led by our students that provides support to those experiencing homelessness in Central Ohio. We’re so proud of the compassion, teamwork, and energy our PA community brings to everything they do, on campus and beyond.

🎉 Our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration was a big success!
We were honored to welcome Dean McCarthy and Dublin's Mayor Grooms for special remarks and the presentation of a proclamation recognizing this milestone.

Guests enjoyed refreshments, tours, and live simulations in an open house format, with alumni from our previous cohorts joining the celebration.

We would like to recognize our incredible alumni, current students, and faculty and staff for making the last 10 years possible. And a heartfelt thanks to OU Alumni Relations, University Advancement, UCM, and our community partners, including the City of Dublin, for making the day so meaningful. 💚
