It's the first day of school!

Today the OUPA Class of 2028 officially began their PA journey. We look forward to supporting their growth as future clinicians, leaders, and advocates!

This past Friday, one of our students brought together PA students and faculty/staff for an hour of holiday caroling at Bristol Senior Living.

Through music and laughter, our students reminded us that service doesn’t always wear a lab coat- sometimes it simply shows up with a song.

We’re proud of the initiative, leadership, and compassion they continue to model in our community!

As we pause for Thanksgiving, our program is grateful for the people who make this work meaningful, including our dedicated students, the faculty who guide them, the preceptors who mentor them, and the partners who welcome them into clinical practice.

This season reminds us how fortunate we are to learn, grow, and serve alongside a community so committed to compassionate care. Your support, resilience, and collaboration continue to inspire us every day.

We loved welcoming some of the members of the OU Pre-PA Club to our Dublin campus today. Their interest, questions, and enthusiasm for the PA profession made our Friday extra special.

We appreciate their trip up from Athens and look forward to seeing where their paths lead.

The PA Student Society (PASSOU) honored El Día de los Mu***os with a celebration of culture and community💛💀.

Students gathered to enjoy homemade salsa, guacamole, pan de los mu***os, and to paint skulls, taking time to reflect on the holiday.

A heartfelt thank-you to PASSOU for bringing such a meaningful tradition to life within our program.

Challenge accepted...and conquered!! 💚🏆

A big congratulations to our team of four second-year students for taking first place at the 2025 OAPA PA Student Challenge Bowl last night!!!

The Challenge Bowl brings together PA students from programs across Ohio for a spirited test of clinical knowledge and collaboration. We’re so proud of our students for their knowledge, hard work, and collaboration throughout the competition.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants (OAPA) for hosting such a dynamic and engaging event!

Now Recruiting Pregnant Participants for a Clinical Learning Lab:

The Ohio University Physician Assistant Program- Dublin is seeking pregnant participants (ideally in their 2nd or 3rd trimester) to assist our PA students as they practice clinical skills in a supportive educational environment.

🩺 Lab Date: November 6, 2025
🕓 Time: 9:30–11:30 AM
📍 Location: Ohio University Dublin Campus (6805 Bobcat Way, Dublin, OH 43016)
💰 Compensation: $30/hr

During this session, PA students will practice measuring fundal height and listening to fetal heart tones with a handheld doppler. There will not be any invasive procedures.

The Annual OUPA 5K brought together students, faculty, and community members on Saturday to raise funds for Bobcat Street Medicine, an organization led by our students that provides support to those experiencing homelessness in Central Ohio.
