In 2016 I received a call from Katie Kimble Chism with her quivering voice just wanting to save the horse that had done so much her. I gathered our staff and veterinarian the next morning and we made a plan for the arrival of Shadow and a plan for his rehabilitation. He was in our critical care unit and for the first 30 days it was extraordinarily quiet as we knew if he made one wrong move it could be over for him and for Katie. We had an owner that trusted us to be 5 hours away and take care of her horse. Shadow stayed with us for over a year and he became one of our own. The day he left was full of joy because we were successful and tears filled our faces as we wouldn't be sharing him anymore. His injury and rehabilitation was a long journey and we celebrate that he had so many years to enjoy after. Katie we send our prayers for peace in your heart as Shadow grazes in the horse heavens.

WYATT and MADDOX always had the cattle tied up and blown off when I would show up at the barn. Good conversation and humor always makes for a fun trip. Love this family... Kara Gunn Patrick Gunn Maddox and Wyatt congratulations on a great year!
