Situated on a nature preserve with a meandering creek, Dublin Retirement Village offers individual and community patios for an outdoor retreat. We also have a picnic gazebo next to a scenic pond. Residents say it is the perfect spot for nature watching or coming together with family and friends. Our community is filled with residents who are proud to call Dublin home and who engage every day in activities that are meaningful in their desires to continue living vibrant lifestyles—with that Irish attitude. Important to residents are the variety of cultural and educational programming offered at the community. From current events discussions to laughter yoga, off-site excursions to art classes and history lessons, there are daily opportunities to inspire every resident to continue living, loving and experiencing life.

This week in our Baking Club, we made a resident-requested favorite—strawberry shortcakes! 🍓🍰 Our residents had an amazing time coming together to help prepare the treat, while some were enjoying seconds, others spent time relaxing in our wonderful Snoezelen room, which everyone absolutely loves. It was a sweet and meaningful day filled with smiles, teamwork, and enjoyment!

✨Our Snoezelen room is a calming, multi-sensory space designed to support relaxation, comfort, and well-being. With soft lighting, soothing sounds, gentle textures, and peaceful visuals, this room helps create a sense of calm and security for our residents🫧

🌴🌊 Our Dive into the Bahamas happy hour in our Memory Support community yesterday was one of a kind! Treats, drinks, games, and relaxing while watching the beautiful waves made it a perfect time. Our residents, families, and staff had so much fun! 💙

Our Assisted Living travelers crafted the most adorable seaside‑inspired signs, featuring sea glass birds perched on driftwood. We officially set sail on our virtual cruise to the Bahamas last Friday with a festive bon voyage happy hour hosted by our resident, Sandy! Residents picked up their boarding passes, struck their best poses aboard The Senior Star Cruise Ship, and kicked off the journey in true island style.

We enjoyed tropical rhythms, Bahama Mamas, wine, and a lively round of cruise ship bingo to get everyone in the vacation spirit. Here’s to smooth sailing and sunny skies as our adventure continues!
