The residents had fun today making Valentine’s Day slime! Our administrator, Sarah even stopped in and made herself some too! A much needed therapeutic activity, and everyone loved getting their hands into it and adding their own twists to their batch! We are so excited to spread the love this Friday at our Valentines Day party! 💕🫶🏼

✨🎉 104 Years Young & Still Stealing the Spotlight! 🎉✨

Today we’re celebrating an absolute legend! Mary, who turned 104 years young today here at Dublin Post Acute! 💖🎂

Staff and fellow residents threw her a well-deserved party filled with cake, snacks, smiles, and plenty of love — and the fun didn’t stop there. Mary was also featured on Good Day Columbus! Which is in the post above if youd like to see! 📺⭐️

When asked her secret to a long life, Mary kept it simple and sweet:
“I don’t have a secret — just be happy.”

Before the festivities, our lovely staff in therapy wanted to help Mary dye her hair, as she stated “I said if I ever turned 100 I’d go back blonde.” So, at 104, they made it happen! A complete makeover down to the nails! We are so grateful for the dedication of Christine and Tracy to ensure our queen looked like just that, A QUEEN!

The holidays at Dublin Post Acute were filled with gratitude, joy, and togetherness 🎄✨ From gifts for our residents and staff, to a festive staff holiday party, and even a managers’ night out with dinner and an escape room for some much-needed team building—this season truly reminded us what makes our community so special. We can’t wait to share all that’s ahead in 2026. Wishing everyone a happy and wonderful New Year!

We kicked off a busy and joyful week here at Dublin Post Acute! 🧁 Our residents started the week baking delicious muffins, then spent another day getting creative by making Christmas stockings filled with holiday cheer. 🎄

Not pictured: residents hard at work designing tie-dye T-shirts—we can’t wait to show off their finished creations once they’re complete! And of course, a big highlight was our Activities Assistants spreading extra warmth by rolling around the hot chocolate cart for everyone to enjoy this Friday afternoon☕

A huge thank you to our Dietary Manager, Jack Davidson, and Activities Director, Abrielle Waddell, for putting together a beautiful holiday party here at Dublin Post Acute. And an extra-special thank you to our incredible staff, whose hard work, teamwork, and genuine care made this evening possible. From setting up, serving, assisting families, and making sure every resident felt included—you helped create a night filled with joy and connection. We couldn’t have done it without you. Wishing everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season!
