3 tips tooth tips as we tackle October 😜

🦷 1. Pick Candy Wisely:
Sticky and chewy treats like caramels and gummies cling to teeth the longest — so try to choose chocolate instead, and always rinse or brush afterward!

🎃 2. Keep a “Candy Time”:
Instead of snacking on sweets all day, enjoy your treats right after a meal. Your mouth already makes more saliva then, which helps wash away sugar and protect your enamel.

🪥 3. Make Brushing Spooky Fun:
Play a Halloween song while you brush for two minutes! It makes brushing feel like part of the fun — not a chore.

Learning to brush on their own?
It’s a BIG deal, even when they are so little…

We are sharing 3 simple, but unique tips for kids learning to brush on their own — they got this!

1️⃣ “Paint Every Tooth” Game 🎨 Tell them their toothbrush is a paintbrush, and each tooth needs to be fully painted with toothpaste bubbles. It makes brushing feel creative and fun instead of a chore.

2️⃣ Animal Timer Trick 🐢 Pick their favorite animal and say: “Brush like a slow turtle on the bottom, then like a fast bunny on the top.” This helps them pace brushing in different areas without rushing.

3️⃣ Bubble Check 🫧 Challenge them to make as many bubbles as possible while brushing. If they can blow a foamy smile in the mirror, they know they’re brushing long enough and covering all the spots.
