Today I spoke with the CR Gazette about the anti-trans legislation going into effect July 1 in Iowa. You can read the interview in this Sunday’s edition.

It’s vital now to be an action oriented ally to your trans friends. No one knows how this will unfold. 🏳️‍⚧️Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, and beauty of the transgender community. It's a day to honor the diverse experiences and identities of trans people everywhere—those who are living openly, those who are still finding their voice, and those who may not be visible but are just as important.
Visibility matters. It brings awareness, fosters understanding, and shows trans people that they are seen, valued, and loved. It’s a day to reflect on how far we’ve come in the fight for equality, and to recognize the ongoing work ahead.
To all the trans and gender-nonconforming individuals: your journey is valid, your story is important, and you are worthy of love and respect, today and every day.
