I am happy to meet you wherever you are, and work with you for as long as you seek on your journey, but I also want to keep things real and settle expectations.

This is a process.

Your anxiety, discomfort, illness, symptoms, etc is not going to go away overnight, after one session, after a couple weeks of sessions, it honestly may never go away.

My goal is not to make your experience go away, or make it a different one. My goal is to hold space for you as you sit WITH it. As you move THROUGH it.

It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. It’s heavy.

It’s also very beautiful. Peaceful. And empowering.

You didn’t get to where you are now overnight, so don’t expect to get to where you want to be overnight either.

Healing takes time. It’s about learning to embrace where you are at, while holding space for what’s to come. A weird and tricky paradox that takes our entire lives to master.

A little blurb from my journal entry the other night:

“I’m not saying to remain in the “stuff” until it’s all “healed” and integrated. I’m not saying to never use your breath and body to shift your energy state—but what I AM saying is to know when to do which—know what your body is asking for and what you need in that moment by A. Trusting your body to tell you and B. Listening. It’s not about constantly remaining in one state—it’s about: how can we get reallyyy good at flowing and allowing the stages of healing as they’re needed?”

I talk a lot about allowing and surrendering. You may think “sure, easy for you to say!” And to that, I say “I know, I see you, it’s not always easy.” Some sensations/feelings/experiences are too difficult to integrate and heal on our own. That’s where seeking guidance and most importantly, leaning on community, come in handy. I don’t mean lean on community in a “here’s all my stuff and I need you to hold and process it for me” but in a “I feel seen, safe, and loved in your presence, and that’s healing.”

We all have things we avoid, and we don’t need to force ourselves to ‘fix’ or change it. Simply becoming aware is the first step. Listen to your body—your body knows when it’s time to lean in and when it’s time to set it down. Your body is doing ‘the work’ for you—but it’s our job to learn how to listen. ❤️
