Clarity Clinic (formerly known as The Pregnancy Center) is a free, non-profit medical clinic in Dubuque, Iowa with a satellite location in Platteville, Wisconsin. We seek to help women and men in crisis pregnancy situations with options support counsel, basic needs and give information so that they can make informed decisions.

Morning sickness can make those first months of pregnancy feel tougher than you expected — but you’re not alone, and there are ways to find relief. 💗

Here are a few simple tips that may help ease nausea:

🍞 Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day (try dry toast or crackers before getting out of bed).
🚫 Avoid greasy or spicy foods that might upset your stomach.
💧 Sip fluids between meals, not during.
🌬️ Let in fresh air to get rid of strong odors.
🥚 Try a high-protein snack before bed to help balance your blood sugar.

And remember — every pregnancy is different. If you’re unable to keep food or fluids down or begin losing weight, it’s important to reach out for help. 🌸
