Who doesn’t have a memory at the Rhomberg Dairy Queen?!

For me, it was our annual walk to get a treat before the July 3rd fireworks — a mile or so each way, buzzing with excitement, sticky fingers and all. That wait for the show felt like forever, but a DQ cone made it magic. Pure summer bliss.

Some things change... but a cone from Dairy Queen still tastes like childhood — especially at this independently owned, family-operated staple of Dubuque.

Thanks for continuing to spread joy, one treat at a time.
