I’ve never been one for the New Year and NY resolutions because I try to set personal goals all year long, but when you own a business and reflect on the past year, it puts things into a different perspective. This year has been my greatest year of my 9 years in business and for that I am so grateful. I am thankful for my clients who have been with me from the start and for my new clients that I may have just met. Without all of you, my business would not exist and my dream that I am living would never have come true.
I have many new faces on my page as we start 2026 and I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a 38-year-old mother of 3. I started my career in Esthetics, while raising my older 2 children by myself (18 & 15). It seemed easy at the time, but looking back I often wonder how I raised my children while going back to school, working 5 nights a week, and contining to do so for the first 4 years of my business. I missed out on so many moments with my children while trying to build this life of ours and I know that my “mom guilt” will never go away.
At 32 I was single, focused on my career, traveling with my kids, and planning to move down south. That all changed when I met an amazing man who had other plans for me. Somehow, I ended up with a third child and moved to Wisconsin...life is strange 😅. I am so blessed to wake up every day with not only a beautiful healthy family, but a job that I look forward to going to. Although my commute to work is an hour and 15 min one way, I wouldn’t give up my clients for anything.
Make 2026 the year of self-care. It’s so important to take time out of your life for you, even if it’s only once a month. Start going to the gym, take a hot bath, get a massage, take a hike, read a book, or come see me 😊 Your life, your family, and your own career cannot run without you.
I wish for good health and happiness for each and every one of you this year and I truly thank you for your continued support.
