With over 20 years as a Physical Therapist, Leslie’s path took a deeply personal turn in 2016 after the birth of her youngest daughter. A confident runner and clinician, she suddenly found herself facing persistent pelvic pressure and abdominal instability—challenges that left her feeling disconnected from her body and overwhelmed by postpartum recovery.

Determined to heal, Leslie immersed herself in advanced pelvic-health research and partnered with a birth-healing specialist to restore her strength. That journey not only gave her back her body and confidence — it ignited a passion to help other women experience the same freedom.

In 2018, she founded Prenatal Postnatal Therapy (now Nurtiva Pelvic Therapy) offering a holistic, out-of-network model focused on proactive injury prevention, compassionate care, and complete healing. Through programs like Better Births, Radical Recoveries, she and her team have helped hundreds of women across Eastern Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin recover faster and more fully.

Now navigating her own perimenopause journey, Leslie has expanded Nurtiva’s offerings to support women from first pregnancy through menopause — integrating advanced modalities like Shockwave Therapy with Visceral manipulation, Craniosacral work, and Somatic Emotional Release.

Leslie lives locally with her husband of 20+ years, their three daughters, and the memory of the daughter they lost. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her soaking up sunshine on family walks or spending time with her church family — always guided by her belief that every woman deserves to feel whole, powerful, and nurtured at every age.🫶
