It is with a mix of emotions that we share this important update: after more than 12 wonderful years serving you and our community, Ideal Chiropractic Health Center will be closing its doors. This decision did not come lightly, and we want to express our deepest gratitude for allowing us to be a part of your health journey.
You have entrusted us with your care, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. Every adjustment, conversation, and milestone has been a testament to the amazing community we’ve been privileged to serve. We appreciate your support, trust, and the relationships we’ve built over the years—it’s been an honor to work with each of you.
While our doors may be closing, we are committed to ensuring your continued care. All client files will be transferred to Dubuque Family Chiropractic, where you will be in excellent hands with Dr. Tim Kronlage.
Dr. Tim is not only a skilled chiropractor but also a dear friend whom we’ve known for over 15 years. He and Dr. Ryan studied together at Palmer College of Chiropractic, and his approach to patient care aligns closely with ours. Dr. Tim is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal health, and we have every confidence in his ability to continue the exceptional care you’ve come to expect.
In addition, we are excited to share that Ideal Protein will continue to be available at Dubuque Family Chiropractic, ensuring you have ongoing access to this resource to support your health journey.

You may be wondering what’s next? The decision to transition the clinic comes with a wonderful opportunity to stay here in Dubuque and work full time with Hormone Health Advantage, a nationwide consulting company Dr. Katie Effertz and I founded three years ago. This transition allows me to dedicate myself fully to this growing endeavor and, of course, to work alongside Dr. Katie again.
While chiropractic care will no longer be provided at ICHC, please know that this decision was made with confidence, knowing you’ll be in excellent hands with Dr. Kronlage.
While you’ll be in the care of a fantastic practitioner, we can’t help but highlight one difference—Dr. Tim is a 49ers fan and a proud Hawkeye supporter! We’ll forgive him for that, as his dedication to chiropractic care far outweighs his team loyalties. 😊
