Mental Health America of Dubuque County

Mental Health America of Dubuque County We work to ensure the mental health of the Dubuque community through education, advocacy and collaboration.

Whether or not we have a mental illness or know someone who has experienced such a problem we all have mental health. We may not think much about mental health or even use the phrase but it’s a common element in all our lives. Some of us call it a state of mind , being content, or feeling good about yourself. Mental health is perhaps best explained as how we cope with daily life and the challenges it brings. When our mental health is good we can deal better with what comes our way.

It is officially 2026! 🌟

While the world screams "New Year, New You," we want to offer a different message: You are enough just as you are.

January can bring a lot of pressure to set big goals, fix "flaws," and hit the ground running. But if you are feeling tired, overwhelmed, or just need a slow start, that is okay. Mental wellness isn't a sprint; it's a marathon.

Our wish for you this year:
✨ More boundaries that protect your peace
✨ More moments of connection with safe people
✨ More grace for yourself on the hard days

We are here for you every step of the way. Here’s to a gentle, healthy 2026!
