New Years Resolutions are AWESOME!!
However, if you don’t subconsciously change the way you think about food…..it’s soooo simple to fall back into old habits.
If Food was used as a Reward growing up,
“Eat all your dinner and you’ll get dessert!” (Praise based on over eating/cleaning your plate even if you were already full.”
Or
“You did so great on that! You deserve a cookie!” (Reward)
Or “you didn’t clean your room so you don’t get dinner tonight…” (Withholding)
“There are starving kids in Africa who would give anything for this dinner!” (Shame)
Those are all Belief Systems (BS) that could be running on a loop mentally for you.
If we don’t deal with the root cause…..
it can just. Keep. Coming. Back.
You get to Decide if you want to keep thoes beliefs….or rewrite your own new/healthy ones.
