Avery Home Health provides adults and seniors with short-term nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, and assistive home health care services. This care is provided by registered nurses (RNs), physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), speech language pathologists (SLPs), and home health aides (HHAs) These visits are up to one hour, through the Medicare Home Health benefit.

We are so incredibly thankful for our staff along side their families that brought unforgettable smiles to the Duffield Daze Residential Parade this evening. We even had a former patient and her family join in on the fun. It is an great honor to serve these residents, facilities, and small town USA. 💙

Several years back our Administrator was inspired by a patient she helped care for. In his healthier days, he would tell of times during the summer he and his wife would bring tomato sandwiches to those in local nursing homes. This an Appalachian delicacy. He remembered the joy this brought to them. The past few years we have been honored to carry this tradition on. 🍅
