The paper "Percutaneous Ultrasound-Guided Laser Ablation of Benign Thyroid Nodules: Results of 10-Year Follow-Up in 171 Patients" demonstrates that EchoLaser secures a long term efficacious treatment of benign thyroid nodules. The speculation that other ablative techniques using more energy and hence destroying more tissue might have a lower regrowth rate than laser seems to clearly lack scientific evidence. EchoLaser preserves the thyroid and eliminates compressive symptoms safely and most of all long term!
