We had a Mardi Gras Celebration on Fat Tuesday including a Jambalaya Feast, getting a drink from Bourbon Street, and throwing the beads over the balcony to win beads and masks. It was a great time with fun New Orleans music playing in the background and people dressing the part with beads, masks and fun bright clothing.

Another Ecumen Winter Olympic event in the books - Olympic Hockey! Residents had a fun-filled afternoon with table hockey and even ate hockey pucks for a snack. Too bad a couple of our Team Members lost teeth during their hockey experiences.😉

Every resident received a rose for Valentine's Day thanks to "Wish of a Lifetime from AARP". The flowers brought a heartwarming smile to everyone. We are feeling thankful and loved.🌹❤️

We're having some Valentine Fun at Ecumen Lakeshore! ❤️ Peggy Ricci had us thoroughly engaged with valentine love songs and a fun singalong. We had refreshing beverages and delicious chocolates too. Peggy kept us smiling the whole time.

We are feeling so grateful for Michael Patterson, who blessed us with a beautiful piano concert during one of our first Valentine’s socials. His music created such a warm and elegant atmosphere for the afternoon.

Guests enjoyed a charming wine bar and fancy pretzel appetizers while listening to his wonderful performance. Thank you, Michael, for sharing your talent and helping make our Valentine’s celebration so special!

Ecumen Lakeshore kicked off the Ecumen Winter Olympics last Friday, which also happened to be “Wear Red” Day in support of Women’s Heart Health. The celebration featured a torch-lighting ceremony and a spirited rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

Competition was fierce during the Winter Plunger Toss event, with residents vying for the top scores. First, second, and third place winners were awarded medals and ribbons for their achievements.

To celebrate the start of the Olympics, everyone enjoyed festive red, white, and blue Jell-O parfaits!
