Last week, our Community Team members and individuals gathered together on a gloomy day — but we didn’t let the weather stop us from having fun!
We brought the creativity indoors with a rock painting activity, and it was such a joy to see everyone’s unique designs and imaginative ideas come to life.
To top it all off, we shared a delicious s’mores treat together as a group — the perfect cozy ending to a fun-filled day!

This support is individual-based and centered around work-related goals that focus on helping the client obtain the maximum level of independence within their job. Today we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate Ranee, Community Coordinator—not only for the incredible impact she’s made, but also in honor of her one-year anniversary with Peace of Mind!

Over the past year, Ranee has truly become an essential part of our team. She brings positivity, fun, and a great sense of humor to the workplace, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone around her. Her approachable nature and willingness to help make her a trusted and valued teammate and leader.

Her dedication to her role is inspiring. Ranee shows a deep level of care for the individuals we support, and it’s clear that her heart is fully in the work she does. She’s meticulous, efficient, and manages her time exceptionally well. Whether it’s communicating with individuals, team members, or guardians, staying on top of timelines, or juggling evolving responsibilities, Ranee always delivers with excellence.

Ranee also stands out for how much she cares about her coworkers. She’s always checking in, offering help, and making sure everyone feels supported. She goes above and beyond, often without being asked, and her flexibility and positive attitude—especially during challenges—are truly admirable.

Please help us celebrate an incredible team member at Peace of Mind, Christie! Christie has been part of the Redbud team now for 3 years and during that time she advanced from a DSP to a Team Lead. Christie is very organized and will always complete all her assigned tasks and any extra which might be asked of her. She has been great at helping to cover some open overnight shifts and will adjust her schedule for the needs of the house and the individuals. Christie will always make sure all important aspects of her shift have been documented and passed on to her oncoming team members. She has great documentation and is very thorough with all her daily documentation. Christie always comes in ready to work and gives great quality care to the individuals, she is a great advocate not only to the individuals physicians, but also with family members. Christie is always thinking of new things for the people at Redbud as part of her person centered approach.

The Residential and Family Services Leadership Team are proud to recognize Gary! Gary is the Marble Team Manager and does an outstanding job creating an open, happy and collaborative atmosphere. He lead his first Mental Health Team meeting and did an exceptional job celebrating and showcasing the strengths of his team members, sharing the positive ways they have contributed and supported the individual’s. He recognizes the importance of highlighting successes while setting, modeling, and expecting professional standards. He is compassionate and present with the team and individuals, if support is needed when he is away from the house he is happy to help to ensure the individual’s always receive the best care. He shows kindness, takes his role seriously, and is a great example of providing person-centered leadership. Amazing job, Gary!

Ranee consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She is often the first to arrive and the last to leave, and she readily takes calls and messages at all hours.
