Happy 5 Year Anniversary, Austin! 🎉
Today we’re celebrating Austin, our Superior Street Team Manager, and recognizing the incredible impact he’s had on everyone around him.
When we asked team members what Austin means to them, the response was overwhelming—gratitude, respect, and genuine appreciation. They shared how thankful they are for the time, compassion, and energy he pours into the house, the individuals we support, and them. Many said it’s hard to even put into words how much he means to them—but one thing was clear: having a leader who truly listens and wants to help in every way possible has made a lasting difference both in and out of work.
Individual feedback really says it best. One person shared how much it means to have Austin advocating for his independence and medical needs (while also appreciating the chance to “give him a hard time” now and then). Another talked about how much fun he had on their recent outing—playing games at the Reef—and how he’s already looking forward to the next one (and jokingly thanked Austin for “dealing” with his mom!). Another person shared how much more fun they’ve been having, especially in the warmer months, getting out to do things like playing baseball together.
Families feel it too. One shared how grateful she is knowing her loved one is safe, happy, and truly enjoying life—crediting Austin and the “Peace of Mind Posse” for giving her exactly that: "peace of mind" (pun absolutely intended 😊).
From leadership, the message is just as strong: Austin leads with honesty and compassion. He builds meaningful, supportive relationships, communicates exceptionally well, and brings a great sense of humor to everything he does. He’s always learning, always growing, and never afraid to ask questions to better support those around him.
Austin, thank you for everything you do—for your leadership, your heart, and the positive difference you make every single day. We’re lucky to have you. Happy Anniversary! 🎉
