🌿A New Beginning in an Unexpected Way 🌿
Eight years ago, when I moved back home to Duluth from California, I had a strong vision of someday having a home practice. I didn’t know exactly why — it was just something that felt deeply right.
Over the years, I looked at countless houses, always searching for that “just right” space… but time after time, something was off — the zoning, the layout, the location. Eventually, I let go of the idea and turned my focus to my downtown office, where I’ve loved caring for this community ever since.
In 2022, I decided it was time to finally buy myself a home. I wasn’t in any hurry, but one day a house popped up that immediately drew me in. It wasn’t even in the area I’d been looking, but something about it felt different. My realtor happened to have a cancellation the very next day, and as soon as I walked through the door, I knew this was it. Everything fell into place with ease — within hours I had made an offer and signed the papers.
It turned out to be more house than I needed. Not a mansion by any means, but I quickly realized I was only using a small portion of it — leaving several rooms completely empty. Then one day, I had a quiet thought: “I wonder…”
On a hunch, I checked the zoning. And wouldn’t you know — it was zoned to allow an office!
That discovery opened a door I thought had closed years ago. In fact, I disnt realize when i bout it, but this house was exactly what i had been looking for all those years. It hasn’t been without its hurdles (permits, plans, and plenty of patience), but I’m thrilled to finally share…
✨ It’s happening! ✨
My new office is open on Monday— in the heart of the Lincoln Park Craft District, one of Duluth’s most exciting and growing neighborhoods.
The space is a beautiful 100-year-old house, with easier parking, simple access right off the 27th Ave W exit, and so much character. It truly feels like the perfect next step — a place that’s been waiting to welcome us.
Now, full disclosure — it’s still a bit “in progress.” Contractors in Duluth can be elusive, and as a recovering perfectionist, opening a space that isn’t just right yet is stretching me! But I know you’ll love it as much as I do.
We have said thank you and goodbye to our downtown space and the official first day in the new space is Monday, October 13th.
📍 New Address: 2517 W. 1st Street, Duluth
(Just behind Wild State Cider, one block up on 1st St.)
This move feels like so much more than a change of location — it’s a full-circle moment, guided by grace and divine timing. God’s hand has been all over this place and this process.
A House Blessing will be announced very soon, and I would love for you to join — to celebrate, anoint this new “sanctuary of service,” and share in the healing energy this space was meant to hold.
From my heart — thank you for walking this journey with me. Here’s to new beginnings, and to the beautiful things that unfold when we trust the timing. 💛
