Success!
For just 2 short weeks ive had the privilege to work with a young adult client who was experiencing neck pain and was developing the beginnings of a neck hump, aka a "dowager's hump." She knew her posture could be better, but she had struggled with it since her teens. A focused, 30 minute session, twice a week for 2 weeks had her coming in on her last day with a smile on her face and a noticeable change in demeanor simply because of being freed from pain and restriction! This is what I live for!!
We discovered on her 3rd session that her subscapularis (sandwiched between her scapula and ribs) was a major culprit in her lack of shoulder mobility. This can be a difficult muscle to address and access due to it's location. How'd i get there? Straight through the armpit!
Its not comfortable work to have done, it'll take your breath away a lot of times, but it is profoundly effective and can change the game in your treatment of shoulder pain and mobility.
So I am sending this sweet gal off to her senior year of college, with a smile on her face, improved posture, and a set of homework to maintain her mobility!
God bless you Sonja as you head back to college!
