Gentle Flow Fridays 10:30a @ Duluth

"I recently moved to the Atlanta area. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, but graduated in 2020 with my degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. I believe that is where I began to find my purpose to understand and serve others, and it’s only become more clear as the years have gone on.

I love being able to combine my Psych knowledge with my knowledge of the practice of yoga to show others how to build a strong and meaningful connection between their own minds and bodies. Apart from previously working in inpatient behavioral health, orthopedics, and higher education, I also own my own holistic wellness business with a mission to partner with individuals and show them how to foster and integrate wellness into their own lives, in ways that work for them.

Outside of teaching and being a business owner, I am an avid series watcher! I also can’t spend enough time with my dog, Blu, who loves to sunbathe and enjoy nature too. We also love a good nap.

New at Bunten Road Park: Barre for Seniors!!!
Monday and Wednesdays at 10a

Barre for Seniors is a hour long, full body exercise focused on strength and time under tension, using a chair for stability. Utilizing our own body weight, and optional props such as light hand weights, a ball, block or bands, we will move through all the major muscle groups. Cued to music and following the instructor's lead, all participants will enjoy a slower, less intense version of traditional barre.

Welcome to Chattahoochee Yoga + Pilates

Chattahoochee Yoga offers private and group yoga, barre and Pilates classes in Duluth, Georgia. Our studio on Buford Highway simply welcomes everyone. Whether this will be your first time on your mat, or you have a regular advanced practice, we are very happy to welcome you to our community.

Chattahoochee Yoga was founded in 2015 in Duluth in order bring the wonderful benefits of practicing yoga to our community. When our yoga studio on Buford Highway opened in early 2017, it was the first yoga studio in Duluth and the only one offering yoga classes in the area! In mid-2018, we began to offer Pilates, both mat and Reformer based sessions as well. We now have the full range of Pilates apparatus, including the reformer, tower, barrels, and chairs. In 2019, we partnered with Barre Body Burn to offer their Signature Barre Burn classes at our studio, and again, are the only studio in Duluth offering barre.

Our classes welcome all people with different yoga experience, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our goal is simple: Make the wonderful benefits of yoga, Pilates and barre as accessible to everyone as possible.

We are here to help you develop a wellness practice that fits your needs, your schedule, and your budget, and look forward to having you become part of our special, supportive community.
