BreakThru Intake Coordinator, Leslie Pollard, and Director of Marketing & Communications, Madi Reep, are honored to represent Delta Memorial Hospital at the 2025 Stop Overdose Summit in Hot Springs, AR, hosted by the Arkansas Attorney General.
Overdose prevention is one of the most urgent public health challenges facing rural Arkansas, and Delta Memorial Hospital is deeply committed to being part of the solution. Our team works every day to expand access to treatment, strengthen recovery pathways, and ensure individuals in the Delta receive care with dignity and compassion.
Our efforts include:
• A Growing MAT Program: Offering medication-assisted treatment, behavioral health support, and follow-up care through Delta Health Services Community Clinic to help patients stabilize, recover, and rebuild their lives.
• BreakThru Inpatient Withdrawal Services: Providing safe, medically supervised withdrawal management around the clock, paired with personalized recovery planning and seamless referrals.
• Community Education & Prevention: Engaging schools, churches, civic organizations, and families with resources, training, and awareness to help reduce stigma and prevent substance misuse before it begins.
Attending today’s summit strengthens our ability to serve, learn, and collaborate with partners across the state. Delta Memorial Hospital remains committed to advocating for the Delta and ensuring that every person struggling with substance use has a path to hope, healing, and long-term recovery close to home.
