Today we’re celebrating one of the most energetic, compassionate, and downright incredible nurses on our team, Cindy Salazar!

With an extensive background in ER nursing, Cindy brings a calm confidence and giving heart to every patient interaction! She handles high pressure moments with grace, brings warmth to every patient and uplifts the whole team with her positivity and drive! She’s the kind of teammate who jumps in without hesitation, lifts everyone around her, and somehow still manages to keep us all laughing! She’s a proud boy mom, our director of bilingual services and a fiercely loyal friend who shows up for her people, ALWAYS! She is a true encourager and carries wisdom, grit, and clinical expertise with her wherever she goes!

We love you Cindy!!! Thank you for being on our team and in our lives!!!! You are a blessing and a true JOY!!!

Each intern brought fresh insight, curiosity, and heart to their projects. The meaningful work they’ve done will continue to impact rural medicine long after the summer ends.
