DRH Health Birth Center is excited to announce we are moving “Swiftly” into our “Team Birth” era! Our hospital officially launched a Quality Improvement initiative that will benefit every mom and every baby that delivers with DRH Health. It is an initiative that empowers women and brings together everyone as a Team to ensure her birth experience is founded on communication, respect, and safety. A woman’s birth experience is a story that she will tell the rest of her life and we want to give each woman the best experience they can have, while providing expert, safe, and compassionate care. It is all about teamwork, communication, and shared-decision making. It’s our privilege to be a part of that story, and TeamBirth is a wonderful opportunity to take that experience to the next level. EXCITING things are happening for our Community. AMAZING individuals are part of this TeamBirth journey. We are excited for the opportunity to be a part of a Team leading the way. 💗💗💗

Have you heard about “Social Distance Spirit Week?” I couldn’t find my ugly Christmas sweater but I found this shirt with Santa on the back and my elf ears. I hope all of you that are staying home will post a pic of you in your Christmas best in this thread or on your page. I would love to see it. Let’s stomp out this virus by staying home or social distancing to the max.

Here is a pic of our baby hat wall in the Birth Center. During this uncertain time we must look at all of our actions and ask ourselves if we are doing what is best for us AND for others. We are so lucky for our “wee” ones and also for those in our lives that may be immunocompromised or elderly. We must remind ourselves that each of our actions effects others. With the coronavirus many people are contagious before they are symptomatic. That is why social distancing is so important. Protect those that have a hard time protecting themselves. Practice social distancing. Stay home when feasible. Please. There will be a rainbow at the end of this storm if we all work together. 🌧 🌈 ❤️

Duncan Regional Hospital and the staff of Duncan Obstetrics and Gynecology are taking this coronavirus outbreak very seriously and we would like you to do so as well. We are seeing needed OB visits and rescheduling all non urgent visits and elective procedures. We are making our clinic as safe as possible, spacing out appointments to avoid waiting room and limiting visitors. We stay here for you, please stay home for us. ❤️

Queen Elsa visited Duncan today. Duncan Obstetrics & Gynecology is currently planning on opening at NOON tomorrow. To our patients, especially if currently pregnant, PLEASE stay inside and safe and away from ice w/risks of falling, car accidents unless you need immediate medical attention... You can always call the Birth Center at 580-251-8830 with questions. We will try to update you with any changes. If you have an appt in AM please call in afternoon to reschedule. Stay warm and stay safe.
