We are proud and honored to welcome United States Representative, Congressman Tom Cole and his field representative Logan Edwards into Dream Team Prosthetics today.

It was a great opportunity to have an intimate discussion with Congressman Cole about the ever changing climate of healthcare in the United States as well as advocating for our patients access to receive higher functioning prosthetic technology!

We showed a brief overview video of some of the involvement of Dream Team Prosthetics patients and our collaboration with Ottobock on the development of the innovative Genium X4 microprocessor knee technology.

Congressman Cole was very engaged with learning about the unique treatment we provide to individuals that travel all across the United States and internationally for the exemplary custom prosthetic solutions we provide!

We hope everyone had a safe Fourth of July Independence Day celebration! With summer in full swing, we want to share the incredible accomplishments of Hayden Bailey (aka LimbLossBoss), bilateral above knee limb loss from a single vehicle car accident.

Hayden is a highly motivated individual and has prioritized using prosthetics full time in his daily life! And the results are truly incredible! His determination shows what is possible for others with bilateral above knee limb loss that make the commitment to a proven process!

It makes a huge difference for mobility independence to have all aspects fully “optimized”; socket design, effective knee technology, optimal foot type, size, category, optimized alignment, proper programming and proven training methods all add up to the most efficient and functional results!

It’s another super busy week at Dream Team Prosthetics; providing our patients with the most advanced and appropriate custom prosthetics solutions!

Our clinical team and a select group of our patients collaborated with R&D engineers at Ottobock on the development of the advanced Genium X4 microprocessor knee, starting in 2020!

Here we are, celebrating one year since the technology was launched to the world; helping to improve the function and efficiency for individuals with limb loss!

We are so proud of our bilateral above knee patient Matt from Alabama; he followed our training protocols and it shows by how fluid he is walking on the SECOND DAY ON FULL LENGTH LEGS!

The most important quality in his gait is walking with STANCE FLEXION! He has made so much progress and benefiting from the new custom designed socket solutions made by Clinical Director Chad Simpson!

The new sockets are a different design than what he was provided by another clinic. These custom sockets give him more control and are secure on his limbs!

To get the best results you must have a completely optimized setup! Matt learned about our unique approach at Bilateral Life Camp!

Matt met many new friends at camp and it has been life changing for him to get on a better pathway to function and mobility independence!

It’s great seeing our new patient Matt from Alabama; making him new, custom designed prosthetics and fitting him with new advanced microprocessor C-Leg knees!

His new journey started at Bilateral Life Camp last year where he made the commitment to using the stubbies full time! Each month he reached functional milestones to properly prepare him for transitioning to full length legs!

Matt quickly adapted to using knees and walking outside on uneven surfaces as well as tackling the mobility training ramp! The security of his new sockets give him much more control!

The really great thing about this photo is how much stance flexion he is getting on each step; one of the keys to efficient walking!

Great job Matt, keep up the good work daily and your progress will improve exponentially! We look forward to seeing you at Bilateral Life Camp in a few months!

Wrapping up another busy week providing the best care to our patients with our unique custom designed prosthetic solutions!

We treat many individuals that have unilateral below knee limb loss! There are many component options to select from so we engage with our patients to develop a game plan to address each individuals mobility goals!

When you are building a deck and need to get 80 pounds of materials down a steep hill to the site and you have bilateral above knee limb loss!

We are wrapping up another busy week at Dream Team Prosthetics!

It was great to see our long time patient Giuseppe and design him a new custom pair of bilateral above knee prosthetics!

He was struggling with prosthetics made by another provider in Canada that caused him some major setbacks!

Giuseppe was injured on the job many years ago that caused the amputation of both legs above the knees! After a long battle to get authorization, he was finally approved for new prosthetics to be provided by Dream Team Prosthetics!

It’s awesome to see patients like Giuseppe that our team has treated for decades; we greatly appreciate the loyalty of our patients that travel thousands of miles for the highly specialized care we provide!

Many times the patient must be their own advocate in order to get the advanced care they require for the best functional outcome!
