There are moments in life that truly show you who people are… and a couple of nights ago was one of those moments for us.
On April 1st, our roof was torn off and our office flooded in the middle of the night. We were completely overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure of what to do next. But without hesitation, Yolonda DeCarloand her sweet husband Tony DeCarlo got out of bed and came straight to us.
At the same time, Israel Vitolas with Vitolas Drywall & Painting along with his wife and family, showed up in the middle of the storm. They were putting out buckets, mopping water, and even climbing up onto the roof in the rain to help protect our office. That kind of selflessness and willingness to step in without being asked is something we will never forget.
And it didn’t stop there… by 9:00 that morning, Yolanda and Israel were already back at the office making sure everything was handled and we were taken care of.
That level of dedication, compassion, and genuine care is something you just don’t see every day.
