🥒 Happy (Belated) National Pickle Day! 🥒

Last Friday we dill-ighted in celebrating National Pickle Day together! There were plenty of giggles as we swapped our best pickle jokes (the corniest ones always get the biggest laughs 😄).

We taste-tested sweet and dill pickles, along with a colorful mix of pickled veggies. The verdict? Sweet pickles stole the show! Most of our residents agreed—they’re simply sweet perfection!

We Thank Our Veterans 🇺🇸

We had the honor of recognizing our veterans with certificates and pins in appreciation of their service. A big thank-you to Alli from Gentiva for helping us each year with this meaningful pinning ceremony — your dedication is truly appreciated.

We’d also like to extend a special thank-you to Forever Broadcasting for dropping off cards from local makers, and to Nason Home Health for helping honor our veterans with certificates and pins.

We are so grateful to everyone who came together to celebrate and honor those who have served our country!

Got buttons? Then you’ve got endless crafting possibilities! 🧵✨

Another project from last week: a candy corn button craft — simple, colorful, and oh-so-festive for fall.
All you need:
🟨 Yellow, 🟧 Orange, and ⚪ White buttons
✂️ Cardstock or canvas
🖍️ A little glue and a lot of creativity!

Arrange your buttons in the classic candy corn shape for a cute fall decoration… but don’t stop there! The possibilities are endless — think Christmas trees, turkeys, hearts, or anything your imagination dreams up. 🎨🍂

🌸 Craft time success! Our residents had a wonderful afternoon making air-dry clay ring dishes — and wow, did they turn out beautiful! 😍 Simple to make, yet so classy they look like something straight out of a boutique shop. 💍✨ A big thank-you to Megan Baker, a PA student from St. Frances, for joining us and adding to the fun! 💕
