Let’s hear it for our newest, Zach!

Zach is a 2011 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, PA, where he played both football and baseball. He earned his B.S. in Athletic Training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2015, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Gannon University in 2018. While at Gannon, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, working with Division II athletes across multiple sports.

Since graduating, Zach has gained valuable experience in outpatient physical therapy and joined Crossroads as our newest team member in May. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a special interest in orthopedic injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys fishing, golfing, gardening, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Michigan Wolverines. He especially loves traveling with his girlfriend, Holly, and spoiling their fur babies, Jimmy and Josie.

Meet Us Monday continues with our PT, Emily!

Emily graduated from Great Commission Schools in 2015, then went to Saint Francis University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2019 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2022. Emily began working at Crossroads after she graduated from Saint Francis University and has been with us for 3 years. She is an American Institute of Balance-certified vestibular and concussion provider and specializes primarily in treating patients with vertigo, imbalance, and chronic dizziness. She finds much fulfillment in helping people regain their confidence and improve their quality of life.

In her free time, Emily loves to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She also likes participating in family game nights, reading books, frequenting local coffee shops, watching movies, and being in nature.

Now introducing, Emily!

Emily has been a physical therapist with Crossroads for 9 years. She graduated from Northern Bedford County High School. From there, she earned a B.A. in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah University in 1998 where she played on the women’s basketball team until sustaining a career ending knee injury. She then went on to Arcadia University and graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. After graduation, she moved back to the Blair-Bedford County area and has worked primarily in out-patient physical therapy settings ever since. She enjoys working with patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses. She has been certified in vestibular rehab and concussion management and has specialized training in treating patients with chronic pain using manual therapy, exercise, and brain-based techniques.

Emily has been married to Marcus for 25 years and has three children: Collin, Alyssa, and Hannah and two cats. Most of her time outside of the clinic revolves around church and small group activities and her family, with much time spent watching them play soccer, basketball, and track and field. Her interests include traveling with Marcus and the kids, scrapbooking and walking with friends, and playing games with her family.

At CrossRoads, we are family — and right now, one of our family members needs our help.

Krystal, our PTA, has been with us since the beginning. She’s one of the kindest, most positive people you’ll ever meet — always greeting everyone with a warm smile and a generous heart.

Krystal has devoted so much of her life to helping others, and now she and her family need our support.

Please consider contributing to the link below and we will also be collecting monetary donations for the family at our Duncansville and Martinsburg clinics.

We also ask to keep Krystal and her family in your prayers during this trying time!
