During Volunteer Appreciation Week, we recognize the incredible individuals who give their time, compassion, and heart to our Hospice teams.

Hospice care isn’t always easy to talk about, but it provides comfort and support to patients and their families when life can be difficult and overwhelming.

Our volunteers play a vital role in that care. From sewing memory bears and supporting memorial services, to gathering resources and simply sitting bedside, they bring comfort in the most meaningful ways.

Felicia Williams has been promoted to Controller!
Now in her second chapter with Interim, Felicia is approaching her 3-year anniversary this June, it’s been incredible to see her continued growth!

We’re also excited to welcome Derek Powell as our new Accounting Manager!

Our accounting team may work behind the scenes, but they play a huge role in supporting our Home Health and Hospice teams every day.

One of the many ways our Hospice volunteers make a difference is through our Memory Bear Program.

Volunteers help create keepsake bears from a loved one’s clothing, offering comfort and connection for families after loss. Each bear becomes a meaningful reminder, providing something tangible to hold onto during difficult times.

Interested in getting involved? Sewing experience is helpful but not required, materials are provided, and involvement is flexible and project-based.

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, we’d love to have you join our Hospice volunteer team.
