Job Scope:
Professional Phlebotomist able to work in a fast paced medical office environment following detailed protocols and procedures. Need to be a certified phlebotomist with a minimum of two years experience on routine and complicated venipunctures, all age groups. Prepare specimens for courier pick-up and transport. Utilize a wide variety of specimen handling technique (refrigerated, frozen, room temperature, special tubes, protect form light, additives, etc.) in the preparation of specimens for transport and analysis. Must have a kind and caring attitude when working with patients of varying ages. Must exhibit a professional attitude when working in the client office with a high emphasis on reliability and dependability. This is a contract phlebotomy position.

II. Education, Experience and Other Requirements
A. Certified Phlebotomist from an accredited college, university, or trade school.
B. 1-2 years’ experience
D. Basic computer proficiency, knowledge of Word and Internet skills
E. Applicant must have a valid IL Driver’s License and daily access to a well maintained/insured vehicle
