“Sometimes you have to share the vulnerable things to show how far you’ve come and inspire others to take the leap. Honestly— I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t trusted to help me. I was in a bad spot. Almost lost my husband, then lost my dad… cortisol levels were HIGH. Alcohol consumption was HIGH. My level of not caring for myself was at an all time HIGH. And then I couldn’t get it off. I’d lose a couple, gain 5, rinse and repeat. Sometimes we need a reboot. In a way, I didn’t think it would work. I really thought it would be spending $$ and regretting it later. To date, I’m down 34.8lbs. Size 12 ——> Size 6!!! My mental health has drastically improved, and I’m a part of a community that truly cares about patients’ wellbeing. Body, mind and soul. Although everyBODY is different, we have seen and changed so many lives. They have changed mine! And although “results may vary”, you’ll never know if you don’t try. Thank you to all the amazing nurses who’ve taken me from patient, to become my work family, and my dear friends. ❤️🙏🏻”
