What we offer at Medicine Shoppe of Dunedin

This pharmacy has been operating in dunedin for over 45 years it was first The Medicine Chest on San Christopher then moved to Pinehurst road then moved to Dunedin Plaza where it became a Medicine Shoppe franchise. The current owners have owned and operated for over 18 years and plan to do so for many more.

The Medicine Shoppe is a full service pharmacy with very competitive pricing and a full line of products , we accept 98% of all insurance for prescription medications. We have a full line of durable medical equipment and surgical supplies. We also offer three different packaging systems for medications , bottle fill, blister packs ,multi-dose packaging and Medicine on Time, so if a patient has trouble with too many medications we take out all problems with our delivery systems. we also do automatic refills on prescription.

The staff is highly trained and the Pharmacist have great clinical skills , Steve Amato was educated at Long Island University Brooklyn center and did some graduate study Dennis Fata was educated at St. Johns University, these are two very well known pharmacy schools that have outstanding reputations.

We also carry hard to find items and if not in stock are usually able to order them in for your special needs. We carry a full line of over the counter products, vitamins and herbs and health and beauty products.
