Ever wonder what on earth that pain is or what your massage therapist is talking about when you ask about a muscle name 🤔

Subscapularis

Location: between scapula and ribcage

Action of this muscle to medically rotate the shoulder, stabilize the head of the humerus

*Note several muscles do participate together for the same actions. *

General causes of discomfort is :
* repeated forceful medial rotation, Repeated overhead lifting, prolonged immobilization of the shoulder

Symptoms of dysfunction someone might feel is:
* Pain when arm at rest and in motion, inability to reach across to opposite armpit
