St. Mary's Cemetery Dunkirk, NY

So about 2 months ago about 49 vases were stolen and one bronze marker that was stolen from the cemetery. There were 90 vases stolen from Willowbrook Cemetery and 5 Military Markers from St Hedwig's Cemetery. We decided not to post anything as to not impede the investigation. I am happy to say that with the help of The New York State Troopers and The Dunkirk Police department that 10 individuals were arrested yesterday. Thank You to both Departments for the diligent work.

A sad day yes, but it had to be done. We couldn't leave her behind. Through trial and tribulation, after 3 trips and 2 failed attempts. But with many helping hands, we finally safely removed Saint Hedwig.

It looks like someone tried being a flower thief. All the recovered flowers are in front of the small garage next to the office.
