🌈 Transgender Awareness Week (November 13–19)

This week, STEL recognizes Transgender Awareness Week, a time dedicated to elevating the voices, experiences, and contributions of transgender and gender-diverse individuals within our communities. As an organization committed to inclusion, dignity, and respect, we use this week to reaffirm our support and strengthen our understanding.

Transgender Awareness Week invites us to increase visibility, challenge stigma, and acknowledge both the resilience of transgender people and the barriers many still face—including discrimination, barriers to services, and safety concerns. By fostering awareness, we help create environments where every individual is welcomed, affirmed, and able to live authentically.
