Here's what Tara has to say about why she got into nursing:

"What motivated me to become a nurse was my natural inclination to care for others. My passion only grew stronger over the years. I love the experience of working with diverse patients, including pediatric patients who have always held a special place in my heart."

Over 400,000 Pennsylvanians rely on home care services to live safely and independently — but those vital services are at risk.

🛑 FEDERAL THREAT: Proposed Medicaid Cuts
The Trump Administration’s plan would:

Slash funding for essential home care
Force more people into nursing homes and hospitals
Limit access to critical services for our most vulnerable neighbors

📢 Tell Congress: Protect Medicaid and the care Pennsylvanians depend on!

📉 STATE THREAT: Unfair Reimbursement Rates
Without a funding increase in the PA state budget, home care agencies won’t be able to:

Keep caregivers in the workforce
Fill critical care hours for patients
Prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and ER visits

🏥 Home care workers are on the frontlines — they deserve fair pay and respect for the life-saving services they provide.
