Thank you, Ashley! 🎗🩷

Meet Ashley Royal Tart, BSN, RN, from Health Pavilion Lillington Cancer Center! Ashley has been with the health system for 22 years and works directly with Medical Oncology and Hematology patients administering infusions, injections, and chemotherapy treatments and any other needed treatment in the Cancer Center Outpatient Clinic.

“My most favorite part of my job is the close relationships that I develop with my patients and their families,” Ashley says. “I really enjoy laughing and cutting up with my patients. I LOVE that we can still find joy and something to laugh and smile about even though some of them are facing the scariest most difficult days of their lives. All my patients become a part of my family and we go on their treatment journey together.”

Ashley grew up on Harnett County, Coats specifically, so it has always been important for her to give back to her community. She says that her co-workers are some of the best people around!

“They are my family,” she says.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys decorating – being creative and crafty, making wreaths, flower arrangements, bows, painting furniture. She also LOVES a good NAP!

Inside the Cancer Center she takes extreme pride in providing exceptional care for her patients.

“It is also very important to me to provide a warm, safe, welcoming environment for our patients,” she says. “We love to see the smiles and excitement on our patients faces when they come into the clinic and the treatment area has been decorated for whatever season it may be. I love that this small act brings such joy to the patients and their families.”

Thank you for all you do for your patients, Ashley. We celebrate you during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all year long!

🚶‍♂️ Better blood flow. Better quality of life. ❤️

At Cape Fear Valley Central Harnett Hospital, we know how much Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) can impact your day-to-day. PAD occurs when blockages in the arteries reduce oxygen-rich blood flow—often to the legs—causing pain, discomfort, and mobility challenges.

We’re proud to now offer Percutaneous Transmural Arterial Bypass (PTAB) with the DETOUR System — a groundbreaking, minimally invasive treatment option.

👏 Congratulations to Amol Bahekar, MD, the first provider in our health system to perform this innovative PAD procedure!
