Developmental Play Services, LLC is actively seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) Developmental Therapist to work one-on-one with children birth to 3 years old in North Carolina’s Early Intervention program. We serve families in Harnett, Johnston, and Lee Counties, and the demand for bilingual therapists—especially in Harnett and Lee—is growing rapidly.

🧸 About the Role
This is a 1099 contract position with full-time or part-time flexibility. You set your own hours and work directly with families in natural environments—homes, daycares, and community settings—using play-based therapeutic strategies to help young children meet developmental milestones.

🎓 Required Qualifications
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following fields:

Birth–Kindergarten Education

Early Childhood/Special Education

Child Development, Human Development, or Family Studies

Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work

Nursing, Education, Elementary Ed, or related fields

🧠 Preferred Experience:

Bilingual (Spanish-English)

Early Intervention experience (ITP)

Strong understanding of child development in the 0–3 age range

Ability to work with diverse families and collaborate with caregivers and professionals

ISO- I am looking for a bilingual therapist to provide one on one Developmental (Play Therapy) for children Birth to 3 years old in the Early Intervention program for Harnett, Johnston or Lee counties. The need is full time or part time. You are able to set your own hours and are a 1099 contract employee. Experience in the Early Intervention field is preferred. I have some part time bilingual school teachers that provide services in the afternoon now but we have a major need for bilingual therapists in the Harnett and Lee county areas. Individuals who serve infants and toddlers in the ITP need specialized knowledge and skills. These are necessary in working with the diverse young children, families, caregivers and professionals. You must have received a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields:
