Job Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Full-Time/Part-Time)

About the Position
Dunseith Community Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated care team. The CNA provides direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and the direction of supervising nurses.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Support nurses and other staff with care delivery and documentation
• Assist residents with transfers using proper body mechanics and lifting equipment
• Coordinate meal services, including delivery, feeding assistance, and intake documentation
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to supervising staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
• Promote residents’ rights, dignity, and confidentiality
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Participate in staff meetings, care plan discussions, and required training • Be punctual and dependable for assigned work hours
Qualifications
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State of North Dakota
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• No active disciplinary action against certification
• Minimum one (1) year experience in long-term care preferred
• Must be able to lift, move, push, or pull at least 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform resident care duties for extended periods • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
