We are proud to announce that the Tribal Council and BlueChip have worked together to take the BlueChip business to the next level by founding a new company, Mikinok Enterprises, a federal corporation formed under Section 17 of the Indian Reorganization Act.

Mikinok is wholly-owned by the Tribe and operates for the benefit of the Tribe, just as BlueChip does today. Mikinok will provide professional services to continue the BlueChip lending business and will allow the Tribe to expand into different types of consumer lending-related products and services. Mikinok will manage BlueChip and other future entities that the Tribe creates under the Mikinok enterprise.

BlueChip will continue to be a significant source of pride and financial success for the Tribe, and it will continue to generate millions of dollars each year for the Tribe’s government infrastructure and social programs. Mikinok will allow the Tribe to expand the success of BlueChip into exciting new opportunities.

As things transition to Mikinok, you will start seeing more things with the Mikinok name and brand. BlueChip is excited about the new path the business is taking, the opportunities this will provide the Tribe and its members, and the continued financial growth for the Tribe.
