This was our morning😫rooms full of kiddos testing positive for Influenza A‼️
Not fun.
We’re seeing complications like pneumonia, asthma flare ups, and dehydration, which can be especially hard on little ones.

We’ve seen a noticeable rise in RSV cases this weekend, with many little ones becoming sick enough to need evaluation in the ED. Testing has confirmed multiple cases in our community.

A reminder for parents: babies under 8 months of age are still eligible for the RSV immunization (nirsevimab). This protection helps reduce the severity of illness if they do get RSV.

If you have questions about RSV symptoms, what the course of illness typically looks like, or when to seek care, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you navigate this season and keep your little ones safe🩵
