Jenna will introduce the basics of neurodiversity—the belief that differences in thinking and learning should be celebrated. She will explore the perspective that all individuals have unique strengths, challenges, and needs.

Additionally, Jenna will share success stories that highlight how understanding our own unique brains empowers us to advocate for our needs, build meaningful connections, and enhance our overall quality of life. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session after the talk.

JF&CS Clinical Services One Good Deed Program of JF&CS HAMSA Helps Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta

Last weekend, 22 families (including 25 5th-8th graders) spent the afternoon at JF&CS Atlanta packaging sensory kits for our clinical clients. Kits include a variety of fidgets, candy, and hand-written affirmations. Mitzvah student, Talia, also hosted a DIY fidget station to highlight the benefits of fidgets and where kids could make their own fidgets to take home.

The BeWellATL Teen Mental Health Roundtable also facilitated programs for parents and kids, leading discussions about how to talk to teens about mental health 💜
