Please join us in congratulating our newest team member, Keyguhn Prissel, on his high school graduation!

Keyguhn is dedicated, hardworking, smart, and so compassionate. These are qualities that will serve him well as he begins his next chapter at CVTC studying Criminal Justice. We are excited to watch him continue to learn, grow, and develop into the person he was created to be.

Our community and team are fortunate to have young individuals like Keyguhn who are committed to serving others and making a difference. We wish him the very best in this exciting new journey and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the years ahead.

Congratulations, Keyguhn! We are proud to have you as part our Durand Ambulance family. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿš”

Today we celebrate a huge accomplishment for one of our own! Congratulations Logan Mason on graduating from the paramedic program! ๐Ÿš‘๐ŸŽ“

Logan has been an incredible part of our team โ€” smart, quick thinking, funny, and always compassionate with patients and our teams. His ability to stay calm under pressure, make critical decisions, and still bring a smile to those around him is something truly special.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and countless hours Logan has put into his education, our service, and Mondovi Area Ambulance Service while reaching this milestone. Our community is lucky to have someone so committed to helping others. Sadly our days with Logan are numbered, as he will eventually transition into his new role elsewhere.

Congratulations, Logan! Your future as a paramedic is incredibly bright. We are excited to watch you continue to grow in EMS and we are so proud to have you as part of our Durand Ambulance family. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿš‘

This week, we proudly celebrate National EMS Week and recognize the dedication, compassion, and teamwork that make emergency medical services possible every day.

This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œImproving Outcomes, Together,โ€ highlights the strong relationships between EMS personnel, dispatchers, law enforcement, our fire departments, hospital staff, and all those who work together to care for our communities when every second counts.

We are grateful for the teamwork and support we receive from our community. Our team trains to work toward the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Thank you to our EMTs (and neighboring EMTs), dispatchers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, nurses, ER and local providers, and hospital teams for your dedication and commitment to serving others. Our teams working together truly make a difference every day.

Happy National EMS Week! ๐Ÿš‘โค๏ธ

A huge thank you to all of our patient volunteers, Pape Bus, and Jackson from Durand Police Department for helping make our mock bus crash drill a success on Wednesday.

Youth of all ages from our community volunteered with enthusiasm, stepped into their roles, and were eager to help wherever needed. A special thank you to April Boigenzahn for helping organize and prepare the students, and to Robert Lee Jr Dregney for your support throughout the drill. Robert we truly appreciate your knowledge, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile to help us. Our team and community are fortunate to have such outstanding individuals willing to give their time and support to help our team grow.

Our EMS crews did an outstanding job with triage, communication, rapid extraction, resource management, and patient care โ€” even with all of the distractions and challenges thrown at them throughout the scenario. We are proud of the teamwork displayed by everyone involved.

Training like this helps us continue to improve and better serve our community when real emergencies happen. We appreciate everyone who gave their time and effort to make this possible, and we look forward to holding this drill again in the future!

One of the hardest parts of being part of a small service is saying goodbye when someone grows beyond usโ€”and today is one of those moments. Please take a moment to join us in thanking Anna Henn for her dedication, compassion, and service to our community. Her impact has not gone unnoticed.

"The purpose of life is a life of purpose" - Robert Byrne.

Anna Henn, your life's purpose shines brightly. From the moment you joined our EMS family as an EMR on 7/19/23, you have made a positive impact in our community and strengthened our team. We have been honored to observe your progression from EMR to EMT, and now Paramedic. Hastings Fire is lucky to have you on their team as a Fire/Medic. Your skills and dedication made you a vital component of both our team and the Durand community. While we will miss you, we are thrilled to see you thrive and hope you stay in touch. You will truly be missed, and we wish you nothing but the very best in her next chapter. ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿš‘ ๐Ÿ”ฅ
