Durand Ambulance 2025 Year in Review
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what it has meant to serve our community.
This year brought challenges, long nights, and moments that tested usβbut it also brought teamwork, growth, and countless opportunities to make a difference. Our EMTs were dispatched to 426 calls, continuing our commitment to providing dependable, compassionate emergency care, always putting our patient(s) first.
We also marked an exciting transition by moving into a new garage shared with our City Law Enforcement Officers, strengthening collaboration and teamwork.
Weβre grateful for so much, but to highlight a few:
-Local businesses that allow their employees to leave during business hours to cover calls.
-Napa, supplying us with a power washer, Bauer Built donating equipment and supplies for our new work space, and NTEC with the office furniture and weight room equipment. Ashley furniture for furniture for our new break room.
-The support of our local fire, law enforcement, dispatch, local hospital and neighboring communities.
We celebrated important milestones within our team:
- We welcomed new EMT 's
-Brooke Pelke graduated and is now a Physician Assistant
-Anna Henn graduated and is now a Firefighter/Paramedic
-Cindy Dregney was honored as EMT of the Year.
Beyond emergency response, we focused on building community. We hosted our 1st Annual Summer Picnic, celebrated Panther basketball, golf, and wrestling, cross country, and held a successful fundraiser made possible by the incredible support of our community.
Because of our committed staff who show up ready to serve whenever needed. We have another successful year without a single missed 911 call. Due to our amazing teamwork and staff, we were also able to provided many interfacility transfers.
Every call, every mile, and every patient reminds us why we do what we do. Thank you for standing behind Durand Ambulance and allowing us to be there when it matters most.
Hereβs to another year of service, teamwork, and pride in our community.
