Continuing education last night at hosted by Southwest Eye Consultants! Dr. Gebhard spoke on unique lid lesions, and Dr. Haug discussed retina cases. Our docs at Peak Eyecare are very thankful to have colleagues in town that want to promote education and collaboration between the entire eye doctor community in the Four Corners region. This year we celebrated four years of serving the Durango community we love so much, and we couldn’t do it without YOU. 💙

Through our PeakWeCare program this year, we were proud to support the Women’s Resource Center, The Hive, Riverhouse Children’s Center, and the San Juan Mountain Association — all doing incredible work right here in our backyard.

Thank you to our unstoppable team, this beautiful mountain town, and our wonderful patients for continuing to share your stories, laughter, and trust with us.

💚 We’re ending the year on a BIG note!

This quarter, we’re donating 2% of all glasses sales to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado through our Peak WeCare program. 👓✨

BBBS helps local youth dream bigger, shine brighter, and see what’s possible — and we’re honored to support the difference they’re making right here in Durango. 🌟

If you’re looking for another way to support them (and have some fall fun while you’re at it!), check out their Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th at Three Springs Plaza! 🎃

There’ll be trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, live music, and more — all benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters and open to the whole community! 🍂

Did you know the biggest source of blue light isn’t your phone — but the sun? ☀️
Blue light from sunlight actually helps regulate your sleep cycle and keeps you alert. But… when we add hours of close-up screen time from phones, laptops, and tablets, it can cause:
