I have an exciting announcement to make!
Starting this Monday, I am adding a new massage therapist to Aloha Kai Massage. Her name is Gabe Petty, and she's a wonderful masseuse and person.
She will be available Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.
With that being said if you use vagaro or my website to book you will now have to choose which provider you want for your service. If you want to book with Gabe thru text or phone call just let me know and I can get you on her schedule. She will also be honoring the monthly coupon.
If you have purchased gift cards/packages with me in the past those services must be done by me.
A little bio about our new massage therapist...
For many years I have loved the idea of healing our own bodies holistically. In 2016 I decided that I needed to follow that intuitive notion and enrolled in massage school at Aloha Massage Academy on the Big Island of Hawaii, graduating in 2017. With this program I learned how to listen to the body and tailor my sessions to the areas and specifics to each clients needs, really putting special attention to understanding and educating my clients in the process. Since acquiring my license in 2017 I have spent time working with post surgical, post accident, sports injuries, TMJ, dis regulated nervous systems, and area specific issues. In the last several years I have taken courses in Tui Na, Lomi Lomi, Trager technique, Trauma informed touch, deep tissue, end of life touch and care, and myofacial release. My work is a blend of all the modalities that I love and find fitting and useful for
my clients. I find heat, cupping, and gua sha (scraping) to be extremely useful in the healing process as well and inccorporate them often.
I believe that everything we need in order to heal ourselves is within our own bodies, and my work as a therapist is to help my clients begin, deepen, or articulate what their body is trying to say. Our bodies ability to hold us together is spectacular, and so is the capacity to let go and live more fully in our lives through releasing that which no longer serves our physical bodies.
Thank you for your continued support!
