Your microbiome is like a garden. đˇđťđˇ
The flowers are the beneficial bacteria we want growing there.
They help make neurotransmitters for you, support your immune system, and keep things running smoothly.
The weeds creep in when the flowers are no longer thick, healthy, and resilient.
That can happen from repeated antibiotics, chronic stress, inflammatory foods, or long-standing infections.
The good bacteria get depleted.
The weeds take over.
How do you know this might be happening to you?
If you keep dealing with recurring infections like:
đˇ UTIsďż˝đˇ Sinus infectionsďż˝đˇ Skin issuesďż˝đˇ Yeast infectionsďż˝đˇ Ear infections
Maybe you keep ending up on another round of antibiotics.
At that point, it may be more than just bad luck.
It may be a sign your gut microbiome is out of balance.
An overrun gut garden can look like:
đť Bloating
đť Fatigue
đť Brain Fog
đť Inconsistent bowel movements
đť Gas
And a body that keeps getting stuck in the same cycle.
I had a client who came to me with recurring UTIs after being on antibiotics on and off for a long time.
Stool testing showed opportunistic bacterial overgrowth and low beneficial flora.
Her gut garden was overrun with weeds.
We made a plan to clear the weeds and regrow her flowers.
She hasnât had a UTI since.
If you are stuck in a cycle of recurring infections and temporary fixes, there may be a deeper reason.
