Riding a bike to work to save the climate, returning your shopping cart, commenting on a post to show you care, picking up trash, and giving money...all good things.

And it doesn't make you a kind person.
Being truly kind involves vulnerability and risk, and a humble, deep bow to what makes us human.

Being curious about someone's life experiences and perspectives while deeply listening, choosing to see the humanness behind their filters, defenses and lenses that reflect back to us our own.
That's kindness.
The world doesn't need anymore ideologies, any more of the aggression being shown in protest to the aggression of those in the past.
You picking the right president isn't going to change anyone's heart...or your own.
Start with you and work outwards.

There's only you.

I will be staffing a Woman's Retreat in Tucson Oct 20-22.
This is the feminine counterpart to the The ManKind Project.
These global organizations have been pivotal in helping people to find their true authenticity and voice in a world largely dominated by the ego.

As I get older I find myself shedding a lot of the layers/groups/activities I accumulated trying to find my place in the world.
Have you also been longing to find out who you are underneath your activities, political party, groups, family, etc?
No matter what we find we can always be at home in a circle of awake and conscious women.
