MEET OUR MASSAGE THERAPISTS! this week we are featuring Sadie Lewis! 🪬 Sadie was born and raised in Cortez, Colorado, received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Colorado State University in 2016 and completed her massage therapy certificate at Boulder Massage Therapy Institute. Sadie’s first introduction to body work was through a 200hr yoga teacher training, and Reiki I and II certifications. Prior to becoming a bodyworker, she lived and worked on Catalina Island in California as an environmental educator teaching sustainability, composting, gardening, and ocean ecology.

Sadie is passionate about supporting each client on their unique healing journeys and teaching them how they can take an active role in their healing through self massage, self care, and yoga/meditation practices. Her approach to massage therapy is equal parts relaxing and therapeutic, addressing both physical and energetic blockages through a variety of techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point release, myofascial release, hot stones, cupping, reflexology, and energetic healing. Sadie also learned pre-natal massage techniques from Michele Kolakowski who helped write the third edition of Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy. Through this training, she applies safe prenatal massage techniques in side lying and semi-reclined positions. She is currently pursuing further training in Abdominal Massage through the Arvigo lineage started by Rosita Arvigo to better provide for women’s needs in the community.

When not providing massage, Sadie is often researching her latest obsession (often related to nature or bodywork), reading, creating art, writing, playing music, hanging out with her cat and dog, or enjoying the outdoors. To book a session with Sadie please call us at 970-247-3939

Meet our massage therapists!! This week we desire Hannie:
“Helping others through healing touch has always come naturally to me. My journey into the healing arts and caregiving began at a young age, well before my formal education, and was strongly influenced by my family lineage of doctors and nurses. While western medicine never felt fully aligned with my path, I was drawn toward a more holistic approach to supporting the body’s innate ability to heal.

I received my initial massage certification from the U.S. Career Institute in 2018 and continued my education at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy in the fall of 2023, earning my massage license in 2024. My work integrates restorative Swedish massage, craniosacral therapy, hydrotherapy, and deep tissue techniques such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of every client, creating a space for deep relaxation, balance, and restoration.

In addition, I studied at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, where I completed training in herbal medicine, botany, foraging, nutrition, medicine-making, organic gardening, and the cultivation of therapeutic herbs. I hope to eventually integrate my own herbal massage oils and lotions into my practice. Prior to my work in bodywork, I spent seven years as a chef in a health food store, an experience that shaped my understanding of holistic wellness, nourishing food, and self-care.
